Morgan Jones, Esquire
Morgan joined Decato Law Office in 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in 2001 for Biology and graduated from Vermont Law School, cum laude, in 2011. In the intervening years between completion of her undergraduate degree and matriculation at law school, she worked in various positions from office administration to law enforcement.
After graduating from Vermont Law School and achieving admission to practice law in Vermont, Morgan worked at a small general practice firm in southern Vermont where she practiced in various areas of civil litigation, transactional and contractual law, gaining significant experience in real estate transactions in an active vacation home market. She also has experience working with municipal zoning regulations, fire safety regulations for various types of residences, laws pertaining to condominium associations, landlord/tenant issues, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, state waste water and water supply permits, Vermont Act 250 requirements, Vermont Current Use Program, New Hampshire Current Use Program, and the Vermont Shoreline Protection Act and creation and reinstatement of corporations and LLCs in Vermont and New Hampshire, and transactions involving business entities.
Morgan is licensed to practice law in Vermont and New Hampshire and focuses on transactional law here at Decato Law Office.
Morgan is an avid rugby player and lover of crafting and the outdoors.
